Riv-Nail R-6-18 - Steel for 5 Rivet/Plate 48mm The BlackStar H60BS42 1 1/2Riv Nail R 6 18 is a rivet hinged belt fastener for belts 13 32" to 3 4" on pulleys 18"+, rated to 1,000 PIW. Top and bottom plates sandwich each belt end and are secured by a staggered pattern of self setting Riv Nails (semi tubular rivets paired with pilot nails). The compression design does not rely entirely on belt fabric for pull out resistance, making Riv Nail the preferred mechanical splice on worn belts and high strength synthetic carcasses.
